Hematologist/Oncologist Physician Job Opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana Job#16854644

An established healthcare practice in central Indiana is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join a busy team supported by strong community referral relationships and extensive clinical resources. The physician will provide primarily outpatient hematology and oncology care, manage a gradually developing patient panel, and participate in a shared 1:8 inpatient rotation and call schedule. Responsibilities also include collaborating with specialty teams and providing limited outreach services at regional locations as needed, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hematology and oncology is preferred; physicians completing fellowship training are also encouraged to apply.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology and Oncology is required.
  • Current or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Indiana medical license is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of hematologic and oncologic conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams and participate in shared inpatient, weekend, and holiday coverage.
