A modern cancer care practice in eastern North Carolina is seeking an experienced Hematologist/Oncologist to join a multidisciplinary team in a fully outpatient setting. The physician will diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions while working alongside oncology specialists, advanced practice providers, oncology-certified nurses, and patient navigation professionals. Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards and sharing after-hours and weekend phone coverage, with access to an established referral network and a competitive compensation package.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Previous experience practicing as a Hematologist/Oncologist is required.
- Board certification in Hematology and Oncology is required.
- Current or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted North Carolina medical license is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of outpatient hematology and oncology diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing disease management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with radiation oncology, advanced practice providers, nursing teams, and other members of a multidisciplinary cancer program.
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills with a dedication to coordinated, patient-centered cancer care.
