General Orthopedic Surgery Physician
An award-winning nonprofit health system in southern Oregon that is expanding orthopedic services through a newly launched, hospital-employed practice. You will join one orthopedic surgeon and one orthopedic physician assistant on the ground floor, helping shape the clinic, its referral base and its surgical program while treating a wide range of general orthopedic conditions. Surgical cases are performed at a new, modern 225-bed hospital, giving you up-to-date facilities from day one. The offer includes an excellent negotiable salary, a generous signing bonus, a production bonus, full benefits and a relocation allowance. The organization holds nonprofit status, so the position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and it sponsors both H-1B and J-1 visas.
Qualifications
- Physician (MD) who has completed an accredited orthopedic surgery residency
- Board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery
- Eligible for an Oregon medical license
- Entrepreneurial interest in helping build and grow a new practice
- H-1B and J-1 visa candidates are welcome
