Gastroenterology Physician – SW Michigan – Job#16856120

A growing hospital-affiliated gastroenterology practice in southwestern Michigan is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician to join its expanding outpatient team. The physician will provide comprehensive general GI services while assuming an established patient base and working alongside another gastroenterologist and experienced advanced practice providers. Responsibilities include evaluating gastrointestinal conditions, developing treatment plans, performing appropriate procedures, and supporting continued practice growth, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience practicing general Gastroenterology is preferred, with the ability to manage an established outpatient patient population.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology is required.
  • Current Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Michigan medical license is required.
  • Medical degree with successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship.
  • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills with experience managing a broad range of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team.
