Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Nursing (DNS) – Long Term Care Center - Canyon City, Oregon Job#15982964

The Director of Nursing Services has administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for assuring functions and activities of the nursing services department. Ensures nursing personnel is in compliance with Licensure, Certifications professional development and regulatory standards.

Position Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program of nursing education.
• Licensure in the State of Oregon as an RN.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
• At least six months in a Nursing Facility
• BLS certificate
• Self-Motivated and takes the initiative to contribute new ideas
• Approachable Leadership style

Preferred:

• MSN preferred
• Six credit hours in Management or supervision pertinent to long term care or have BSN or MSN with coursework in Management. (Required within six months of hire)
